As a Civil Engineering Technical Auditor for the City of Herne, you will play a critical role in the Audit Department, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of municipal construction projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the technical and legal auditing of civil engineering measures, from the initial tendering process through to final accounting. You will evaluate public procurement procedures, verify construction invoices for technical and economic accuracy, and provide expert advice to various departments on procurement and construction matters. Required Skills

Experience

  • Proven professional experience in public procurement law and the application of HOAI
  • Experience in auditing and releasing construction accounts based on technical and economic criteria
  • Experience in providing technical advice and reporting to civic committees
