Job Summary

This role involves providing comprehensive first-level support for the d.velop documents Management System (DMS) at the University of Rostock. As a member of the Organizational Consulting team, you will act as the primary point of contact for users via telephone, email, and in-person consultations. Key responsibilities include conducting user training sessions, creating and maintaining instructional manuals, and managing the error reporting and troubleshooting process. You will also represent the DMS coordination team as needed. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy combining technical IT support with user-facing advisory tasks. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Law, Engineering, Public Administration, or Business Informatics. Alternatively, a completed vocational training (e.g., as an IT Specialist) combined with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT user support or first/second/third level support
  • Experience in a consulting context, process management, or project management is desirable
  • Proven experience in defining, reflecting, and evaluating learning and work processes
  • Experience working responsibly within expert teams and guiding the professional development of others
