Job Summary
As an IT Application Manager specializing in Patient Data Management Systems (PDMS), you will play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of Germany's largest municipal clinic operator. Based in Berlin, you will lead the planning and implementation of PDMS solutions across intensive care, anesthesia, and neonatology departments. Your daily responsibilities include providing 1st and 2nd-level support, consulting with clinical users to optimize software utilization, and organizing comprehensive training sessions. You will act as a vital bridge between clinical requirements and technical execution, managing relationships with external service providers and vendors. This position is ideal for professionals who want to combine technical expertise with clinical insight to improve healthcare delivery. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, or Business Informatics; alternatively, a medical background with additional technical training and high IT affinity.
Experience
- Long-term professional experience in the support and maintenance of clinical application systems
- Proven experience in the planning and implementation of healthcare IT projects
- Practical experience in connecting medical devices to a PDMS
- Strong proficiency in at least one Patient Data Management System (PDMS)
- In-depth knowledge of clinical documentation workflows in intensive care, IMC, and anesthesia environments

- Proof of measles immunity/vaccination (for those born after 1970) is a mandatory requirement for employment. The position is based in Berlin-Reinickendorf with mobile work options available by arrangement.
