Job Summary

This role involves the technical management and integration of medical specialist systems and clinical applications within Germany's largest municipal hospital operator. You will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation of medical devices and diagnostic software, integrating them into the existing IT infrastructure and Hospital Information System (KIS). Day-to-day tasks include 2nd and 3rd-level support, release management, and coordinating with external service providers and internal IT teams. You will play a key role in the 'Vivantes Strategy 2030' to fully digitize clinical processes. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma/Master) in Medical Engineering, (Medical) Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT application support, system integration, or the operation of clinical specialist systems
  • Experience in technical device and system connectivity, including MAC addressing and network shares
  • Practical experience with communication standards such as HL7 and integration engines
  • Experience in 2nd and 3rd-level support, including troubleshooting and incident analysis
  • Experience coordinating with external manufacturers and internal technical departments
