Job Summary
As a Senior Cyber Security Manager, you will lead the 'Vulnerability Control and Analysis' service to protect one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures. Operating within the Competence Center IT-Security (CCITS), you will take full service responsibility for advisory management tools and vulnerability scanners. Your day-to-day involves the technical and financial management of the service lifecycle, defining strategic roadmaps, and providing technical leadership to a geographically distributed team. You will ensure performance obligations are met, manage investment planning, and represent the vulnerability management domain in cross-functional working groups. This role is unique as it directly contributes to the digital sovereignty and security of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in (Business) Informatics with a focus on IT Security, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience. Possession of relevant certificates in IT Service Management and IT Security is required.
Experience
- Approximately 5 years of proven experience and expertise in service delivery, control, and monitoring within the field of vulnerability management.
- Professional experience in the public sector or German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership of distributed teams.
- Professional experience in financial and investment planning, including offer calculation.
- Experience in interpreting guidelines and ensuring compliance with security policies.

- Willingness to undertake occasional national travel is required. Candidates must be eligible for work within a security-sensitive environment related to the German Armed Forces. Location: Bonn or Leipzig.
