As an IT Onsite Support Technician for a global technology leader, you will be responsible for the physical setup and technical configuration of high-end conference rooms. Your daily tasks involve the installation and assembly of media technology, including large-scale displays, audio systems, and camera equipment. You will handle the necessary cabling, power supply verification, and functional testing to ensure all systems are operational for end-users. Beyond the technical assembly, you will serve as the primary onsite contact for colleagues and clients, documenting your work and troubleshooting issues as they arise. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work and have a background in electrical systems or event technology. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Event Technology, Information Technology (Fachinformatik), or equivalent professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical work, event technology, or IT systems integration
  • Practical experience in manual assembly and technical installation (drilling, mounting, fastening)
  • Experience with the installation of displays or conference room technology is preferred
  • Experience acting as a technical point of contact for end-users

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required. Position involves physical labor including mounting and manual assembly. Role is based on a fixed-term contract under the GVP collective agreement with potential for permanent takeover.
