Job Summary

As an IT Support Engineer for Conferencing & Events at Osborne Clarke, you will serve as the primary point of contact for colleagues regarding IT workplace solutions and technical event support. Your daily responsibilities include ensuring the stability of IT systems, managing the lifecycle of conference room technology, and providing hands-on support for high-stakes legal meetings and webinars. You will oversee approximately 30 Microsoft Teams Room systems across multiple German offices, handling everything from initial planning and configuration to troubleshooting and optimization. This role is unique because it combines traditional IT helpdesk support with specialized technical event management, offering the opportunity to grow into a 'Technical Service Owner' role. You will work closely with marketing and HR departments to deliver seamless hybrid events and high-quality audio-visual experiences in a dynamic, international law firm environment.

Required Skills

Education

Vocational training as an IT Systems Integration Specialist (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Clerk (IT-Systemkaufmann), or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT support, user helpdesk, or technical internships
  • Experience in the administration and maintenance of Microsoft and Apple client systems
  • Practical experience with conference technology and Microsoft Teams Room systems
  • Experience in technical planning and execution of online, offline, and hybrid events
  • Proven track record in troubleshooting hardware and software issues with documented solutions
