Job Summary
This role involves providing high-level administrative and strategic support to the Head of Department for Economics and Social Affairs in Lübeck. As a position of special trust, you will manage complex scheduling, coordinate business travel, and handle sensitive correspondence in both German and English. Beyond traditional secretarial duties, you will be responsible for preparing briefing materials, drafting speeches and greetings, and supporting public relations efforts. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Public Administration Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r), First Employee Examination (Angestelltenprüfung I), or Office Management Specialist (Kauffrau/-mann für Büromanagement).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in office management or executive assistance
- Experience in public administration or a comparable organizational environment
- Proven track record in handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
- Experience in preparing speeches, information materials, and official correspondence

- Permanent full-time contract (39 hours/week) graded at EG9a TVöD. Applicants must be available for work in Lübeck, with options for mobile work. Willingness to undergo training for specific software (MACH/Allris) is required if not already proficient.
