Job Summary
This role involves the implementation, development, and administration of specialized software solutions for building management within the Region Hannover administration. You will be responsible for managing Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems, workplace booking software, and ticketing systems. Day-to-day tasks include defining software requirements for procurement, adapting digital tools to organizational needs, and analyzing existing processes to increase efficiency. You will also coordinate internal regulations, such as service agreements and manuals, while ensuring systematic data maintenance for furniture, inventory, and electrical systems. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in public administration who possess a strong technical affinity and organizational skills. It offers a unique opportunity to shape the 'New Work' environment and desk-sharing initiatives of a large public employer, backed by the stability of a permanent public service contract (TVöD E11 or A11).
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Public Administration (Diplom-Verwaltungswirt, Bachelor of Arts in General Administration/Administrative Business Administration) or completion of the Second Administrative Examination (Angestelltenlehrgang II).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience based on the required administrative qualification
- Experience in project work and organizational development is desirable
- Experience in the analysis and implementation of software solutions
- Professional experience in public administration or general services

Additional
- Must meet the requirements for the German civil service career group 2 (first entry level) or equivalent collective agreement qualifications. Location: Region Hannover.
