Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer for Grid Integration, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the energy transition by designing and implementing grid connections for large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Your day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating potential project sites, developing technical concepts for medium and high-voltage systems, and coordinating with grid operators to ensure compliance with technical connection requirements. You will be responsible for the design of substations, switchgear, and transformers, while also managing external engineering partners and overseeing the commissioning process. This position is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys a mix of project development and hands-on engineering. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Electrical Energy Systems, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience with medium and high-voltage switchgear, ideally in development or project planning
  • Proven experience in technical communication with grid operators and interpretation of technical connection rules (TAB)
  • Practical experience in the design and planning of electrical energy systems
  • Experience in coordinating external engineering partners and suppliers
  • Experience in the commissioning and acceptance of electrical installations
