Job Summary

As a Senior Network Administrator focused on Wide Area Networks (WAN), you will be responsible for ensuring the digital future-readiness of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). This role involves the end-to-end lifecycle management of the WAN backbone and access areas, specifically handling Layer 3 services, customer edge devices, and encryption solutions according to VS-NfD standards. On a daily basis, you will build and operate WAN components in complex environments, monitor systems using central management tools, and perform deep-dive error analysis within incident and problem management processes. You will also drive network optimization configurations and contribute to service development and large-scale rollouts.
