Job Summary

Join the primary digitalization partner of the German Armed Forces as a System Engineer specializing in Storage. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and optimization of a critical storage infrastructure, including IBM SVC, Flashsystems, COS, and Tape, as well as SAN components from Cisco. You will handle incidents, changes, troubleshooting, and contribute to the automation of standard tasks. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance the IT capabilities of the German military, contributing directly to national security. The role requires a relevant technical degree or equivalent qualification, at least three years of professional experience in storage systems, and a willingness to undertake occasional travel and on-call duties. Experience with Ansible Automation Platform is desirable.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of task-based, professional experience in storage systems
