This role within the City of Herne’s Green Space Department involves the comprehensive management of public funding and project accounting. You will be responsible for researching grant opportunities, preparing and submitting applications, and ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and reporting requirements. Day-to-day tasks include budget monitoring, cost control, and managing the documentation necessary for audits by funding bodies. You will act as a key liaison for legal compliance, data protection, and procurement rules related to subsidies. Required Skills
Education

Experience
- Professional experience in grant management or project management is required for candidates with a university degree.
- Professional experience in the public sector (Öffentlicher Dienst) is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in budget and cost control.
- Experience in preparing and supporting audits by funding authorities.
- Proven ability in administrative negotiation and professional communication.
