Job Summary

This role involves providing high-level technical support and developing custom solutions for a leading European logistics and transport provider based in Roth. As a 2nd Level Support Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and resolving complex IT issues, collaborating with external service providers, and specifying requirements for internal IT applications. You will play a key role in the company's digitalization efforts by creating concepts for application development and managing technical projects. The position offers a unique blend of technical support and hands-on programming, allowing you to monitor, administer, and optimize various software systems. This is an attractive opportunity featuring a salary of up to €60,000, hybrid work options (two days of home office per week after probation), and comprehensive benefits including holiday and Christmas bonuses. The role is initially through a personnel service provider with a clear option for permanent takeover by the client company.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Application Development (Fachinformatiker Anwendungsentwicklung), a degree in (Business) Informatics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT support or software development, ideally within the logistics sector
  • Practical experience using C#, MS SQL, ASP.NET, and the .NET Framework
  • Experience in version control using Git
  • Experience in analyzing and resolving technical malfunctions and system errors
  • Experience in project management and planning for IT applications
