Job Summary

The Federal Railway Authority (EBA) is seeking a Signal Technology Engineer to join their construction supervision and monitoring department in Berlin. In this role, you will be responsible for the oversight of Deutsche Bahn's operating facilities, specifically focusing on signaling systems, electrical engineering, and telecommunications. Your daily tasks will include reviewing execution plans, conducting acceptance tests for new constructions and modifications, and monitoring the maintenance and operational safety of signal boxes, level crossing protection systems, and train control systems. You will also coordinate annual monitoring programs and investigate technical irregularities. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience and knowledge in the field of signal technology
  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or railway-specific technical systems is advantageous
  • Experience in organizing and negotiating with third parties
  • Experience in technical administration or public service (civil service career eligibility) is preferred
