Job Summary

This is a leadership role as a Workshop Manager within the Electrical Engineering team at the Scharnebeck shipyard. The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance, general servicing, and troubleshooting of waterway and shipping infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include work preparation, order planning, and the management of external contractors via SAP. A critical component of the role is serving as the Responsible Qualified Electrician (VEFK), ensuring operational safety and compliance with VDE and DIN-EN standards. Furthermore, the position involves personnel leadership, overseeing vocational training, and participating in on-call rotations. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Master Electrician
  • Extensive experience in the construction, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems
  • Proven experience in personnel leadership and staff management
  • Practical experience in tendering, awarding, and processing construction measures
  • Experience in occupational health and safety and accident prevention
