Job Summary

As a SecOps Engineer within the Cloud Operation Hub, you will serve as a critical enabler for the German Armed Forces' digital sovereignty. Your daily responsibilities involve managing a full-managed cloud stack, where you will independently handle 1st and 2nd level support, implement architectural adjustments based on security requirements, and optimize DevOps processes. You will be instrumental in developing automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and managing container deployments. A significant portion of the role focuses on security, including vulnerability analysis and the implementation of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable professional experience with a completed vocational training qualification.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT or cloud operations
  • Professional experience in deploying, operating, and using Kubernetes clusters
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) for code and configuration management
  • Experience with ArgoCD and/or Crossplane
  • Experience in developing with modern programming languages
  • Professional experience in 1st and 2nd level support including on-call duties
  • Experience working within agile DevOps teams
