Job Summary
As a Systems Engineer for Laser and Sensor Systems, you will be responsible for the development, testing, and verification of laser systems and sources within a laboratory environment. Your day-to-day activities involve creating technical concepts that balance costs, timing, and manufacturability while coordinating multidisciplinary teams across mechanics, optics, electronics, and software. You will serve as a technology scout, evaluating new innovations and supporting feasibility studies. Additionally, you will manage requirements and verification processes for both internal and external partners. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optics, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development and integration of laser systems or opto-electronic devices
- Practical experience with laboratory methods, testing procedures, and verification processes for laser systems
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams including mechanics, optics, and software
- Experience in technical concept development and requirements management
