Job Summary

This role focuses on the development, supervision, and validation of xPTO (Power Take-Off) systems within high-voltage environments. As a Development Engineer, you will take on technical project leadership responsibilities, coordinating between internal departments, customers, and suppliers. Your daily activities will include planning and managing Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing to ensure system safety and reliability. You will also analyze test results, derive optimization measures for power electronics, and support the transition to series production by collaborating with procurement and production teams. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of hands-on technical validation and strategic project coordination. The role offers a high degree of flexibility through hybrid work models and a focus on professional development within a collaborative, international team environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in testing and system development, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Practical experience in high-voltage technology and power electronics
  • Experience using vehicle communication tools such as CANoe or CANape
  • Experience in project leadership and cross-functional coordination between suppliers and internal departments
