Job Summary
As a Development Engineer and Component Responsible in the aerospace sector, you will take ownership of complex individual parts and assemblies throughout their entire lifecycle. Your daily responsibilities include managing projects from the initial concept phase through design, qualification, and final release. You will analyze customer and system requirements, define critical interfaces, and develop comprehensive testing and verification concepts. Acting as a central interface for internal and external stakeholders, you will oversee work packages while maintaining strict control over quality, costs, deadlines, and risks. This role is highly collaborative, involving the support of integration and commissioning at component and system levels. Required Skills
Education
University degree (minimum Bachelor) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in systems engineering or the development of technical components.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing verification procedures and qualification tests.
- Experience in managing work packages and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in the aerospace industry or a related high-tech technical field.
