As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for the creation of medical reports in molecular hemato-oncology and somatic genetics, directly influencing individual patient therapy plans. Your daily routine involves utilizing cutting-edge Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology and liquid biopsy analysis to evaluate somatic variants. Beyond routine diagnostics, you will play a key role in innovation by optimizing NGS analysis pipelines and developing new analytical methods. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in (hemato-)oncological or molecular pathological diagnostics
  • Proven expertise in molecular biological and genetic procedures, specifically NGS
  • Practical experience handling peripheral blood, bone marrow, and FFPE samples
  • Experience in evaluating somatic variants according to WHO and Tier classifications
  • Experience in medical report generation considering therapeutic options is preferred
  • Familiarity with genetic databases and analysis pipelines for somatic variants
