This role is based at the Institute for Safety and Quality in Cereal at the Max Rubner-Institut in Detmold. As a Chemical Technical Assistant, you will contribute to the 'KaProBast' research project, which focuses on enhancing the nutritional value of potato products using sustainable fibers. Your daily responsibilities will involve a blend of food technology and analytical chemistry, including practical work in extraction plants and the performance of instrumental analysis such as HPLC and GC-MS. You will be responsible for characterizing fiber-rich products, preparing sample series, and documenting results using specialized software.
