Job Summary

The Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) is seeking two System Administrators to join the Digital Innovation department in either Wiesbaden or Berlin. These roles are critical for maintaining and evolving the BKA's private cloud infrastructure, which supports both national and international security agencies. Depending on the specific focus (PaaS or SaaS), you will either manage a high-security Cloud Foundry platform or operate cloud-native applications on a modern police service platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning infrastructure, implementing automation solutions, and ensuring the high availability, scalability, and security of systems. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • 3 years of professional IT experience required if applying with a vocational IT qualification
  • 6 years of professional IT experience required if applying with a non-IT vocational qualification
  • Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Cloud Foundry (for PaaS role)
  • Experience with container orchestration and deployment methods like Helm (for SaaS role)
  • Professional experience in automation, monitoring, and CI/CD workflows
