Job Summary

As a Cloud Security & Compliance Architect at the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), you will play a pivotal role in modernizing Germany's national security infrastructure. You will be responsible for planning and implementing the migration of critical police procedures from legacy environments to secure cloud platforms. Your daily tasks involve developing technically feasible reference architectures, creating migration strategies for highly available applications, and ensuring strict compliance with information security and data protection regulations. Working within a DevSecOps framework, you will collaborate with technical and operational teams to harmonize regulatory requirements with modern IT architecture. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a STEM field with an IT component. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or vocational IT training combined with specific years of professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in migrating high-availability applications to cloud service providers
  • Experience with both legacy IT environments and modern cloud software architectures
  • Experience in applying BSI IT-Grundschutz standards in a practical environment
  • 4 years of professional experience in IT required if holding a Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years of professional experience in IT required if holding a vocational qualification
