Job Summary

The Service Director for EMEA is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing all Field Service Operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Operating remotely from a major European hub, the successful candidate will manage a large organization of approximately 120 staff members, including Field Service Managers, Engineers, and Sales teams. The day-to-day focus involves driving profitable growth in service revenue, managing regional P&L, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction through the installation and maintenance of cutting-edge optical and digital microscopy solutions. This position is unique for its blend of strategic financial management and hands-on organizational development within the Danaher ecosystem. You will act as a bridge between Sales and Business Unit Management, utilizing the Danaher Business System (DBS) tools to optimize processes and resolve complex technical or contractual issues, making it an ideal role for a seasoned leader in the life sciences or medical device sectors.

Required Skills

Education

Undergraduate degree required (Business, Economics, or Engineering preferred); Master's degree is considered an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience working within a global organization
  • Proven track record in successfully managing and developing large, customer-facing organizations
  • Extensive experience in financial management, specifically owning and optimizing regional P&L
  • Experience in service operations, including field repairs, installations, and warranty management
  • Demonstrated ability in building cross-functional relationships and negotiating at all organizational levels
