Job Summary

The City of Leverkusen is seeking a dedicated Funding Manager for Mobility and Climate Protection to join its Mobility and Climate Protection Department. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be instrumental in securing and managing funding for key initiatives. Your daily tasks will involve assessing funding eligibility, preparing grant applications based on departmental guidelines, and coordinating the financial and logistical aspects of funded projects. You will also be responsible for developing and overseeing internal funding programs for city employees and citizens, including managing payments and reporting results to political bodies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with a background in public administration, law, economics, social sciences, or administrative sciences. Required Skills

Education

Eligibility for career group 2.1 (public service), or completed Administrative Course II, or a university degree (Diplom (FH) or Bachelor) in Legal, Economic, Social, or Administrative Sciences, or completion of the First State Examination in Law or a degree as a Diplom-Jurist.

Experience
