Job Summary

As an IT Coordinator for the Department of Mobility and Transport in Aachen, you will play a pivotal role in driving the city's digital transformation. Your daily responsibilities include developing IT framework concepts, managing digitalization strategies, and leading projects for the selection and implementation of specialized software and infrastructure. You will act as the central interface between the department, the city's central IT management, and external software providers. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to support over 120 professionals in technical and administrative fields while ensuring IT systems align with the city's mobility goals. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT coordination or a related technical field
  • Experience in leading IT projects, specifically the selection and introduction of new applications
  • Experience in developing IT concepts and digitalization strategies
  • Proven experience in stakeholder communication between technical departments and external providers
  • Experience in change management processes is desirable
