As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for the daily generation of medical reports in molecular (hemato-)oncology and somatic genetics, directly influencing individual patient therapy plans. Your day-to-day involves evaluating Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data and liquid biopsies using advanced specialized databases and laboratory information systems. A key part of the role is the optimization of NGS analysis pipelines and the development of new analytical methods to expand the diagnostic portfolio. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Extensive experience with molecular biological and genetic procedures, specifically NGS
  • Practical experience handling peripheral blood, bone marrow, and FFPE samples
  • Proven experience in evaluating somatic variants according to WHO and Tier classifications
  • Experience in generating diagnostic reports and using genetic databases
