Job Summary

As a Building Services Engineer for the Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb NRW, you will play a pivotal role in managing one of Europe's most extensive and demanding real estate portfolios. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing expert technical oversight, quality control, and performance auditing for externally contracted architectural and engineering firms. You will independently deliver services according to HOAI phases, manage budget and schedule planning, and collaborate closely with project stakeholders on construction and maintenance measures. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diploma/Master/Bachelor) in Supply Engineering, Building Technology/TGA, Smart Building Engineering, or a comparable engineering field; alternatively, a qualification as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsman with significant relevant experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in building services engineering or technical building equipment (TGA)
  • Experience in managing external engineering firms and construction contractors
  • Experience in applying relevant legal regulations such as HOAI and VOB
  • For candidates without a degree: At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in an engineering-level capacity is required
  • Several years of professional experience is preferred for all applicants
