Job Summary

This role involves managing complex civil engineering projects for the Federal Construction division of the BLB NRW, one of Europe's largest real estate portfolios. The engineer will independently handle all phases (1-9) of the HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers) for new construction, renovation, and infrastructure measures, or manage external specialist planners. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing the refurbishment of extensive sewage and rainwater networks, road and path construction, drainage systems, and earthworks. Key responsibilities also cover timeline, budget, and cost planning, as well as contract and claim management. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering (specializing in Civil or Landscape Engineering) and possesses knowledge of German public procurement law (VgV, VOB) and relevant legal regulations (WHG, BBodSchG).
