Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer specializing in power supply, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and creation of control cabinet layouts, circuit diagrams, and comprehensive parts and cable lists using EPLAN. This role involves a hands-on approach, where you will oversee the assembly and commissioning of prototype systems while providing critical support for troubleshooting and diagnostics. Beyond technical design, you will be tasked with developing work and testing instructions, acceptance protocols, and detailed project documentation. You will also serve as a key technical point of contact for external suppliers. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or successfully completed training as a State-Certified Technical Specialist (Techniker) in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical design and power supply systems
  • Practical experience using at least one major CAD tool such as E-Plan P8, COMOS, E-Base, or WS-CAD
  • Experience in creating technical documentation, including parts lists and acceptance protocols
  • Experience in the assembly and commissioning of electrical prototypes
