Job Summary

As an Electronics Technician at the Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research (TROPOS), you will play a vital role in supporting international scientists by translating research concepts into technical laboratory and measurement setups. Your daily responsibilities include the repair and maintenance of electronic and optical measurement systems, as well as the construction, testing, and documentation of scientific instruments. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of electronics development, from manufacturing printed circuit boards using CNC tools and soldering components to commissioning prototypes and procuring necessary electronic parts. Additionally, you will handle building electrical installations and perform safety testing on portable equipment.
