As the Head of Occupational Health and Safety (EHS) at the prestigious Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, you will lead the strategic and operational management of safety protocols for approximately 750 employees. Your daily responsibilities include performing risk assessments, advising institute leadership, and overseeing specialized areas such as hazardous materials transport, biological safety, genetic engineering, and radiation protection. You will serve as the primary liaison for authorities and professional associations while managing internal audits and training programs.
