This role involves specialized data engineering and infrastructure development within the field of gender-sensitive medicine and prevention research at a major university medical faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development and maintenance of a robust Data Lake infrastructure, focusing on technical process creation, administration, and automation. Key tasks include designing, building, and maintaining efficient ETL pipelines to consolidate data from multiple sources, establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/GitHub Actions, and implementing comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). The position requires extensive programming experience in Python and JavaScript, expertise with various databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), and professional experience with Docker and Cloud environments (Nextcloud, Microsoft, OpenStack). This is a full-time, fixed-term contract until February 2029, offering a challenging role in a future-oriented research field.

Completed scientific university degree (Master's), preferably in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or Life Sciences

Experience
