Job Summary

This role is for a Clinical Engineer within the Department of Experimental Audiology at the University Hospital Magdeburg. The professional will be responsible for the technical adaptation and support of patients, both adults and children, utilizing Cochlear Implants and active middle ear implants. Key duties also involve providing technical support and execution of experiments for medical physics lectures and practicals, contributing to the development of new research and teaching experiments, and assisting with data collection and analysis for scientific studies. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, or a comparable field, coupled with strong teamwork skills and empathy for patients with hearing or communication impairments. Experience with hearing implants is highly desirable, making this a specialized and impactful position at a maximum care clinic.
