Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Service Technician to join a leading nationwide IT service provider in Augsburg. The primary focus is supporting and developing the IT workplace environment and providing essential 2nd Level Onsite Support for a large corporate client with approximately 3,000 Windows clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include the hardware rollout, comprehensive IT workplace support for business users, and critical fault analysis and troubleshooting on industrial hardware, such as Panel PCs and Industrial Tablets. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant IT qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), professional experience in IT hardware rollout, strong knowledge of Windows Client OS up to Windows 10, MS Office, Mac, and CAD, and excellent German language skills. This position offers a challenging and varied role within a supportive team, with thorough onboarding, continuous training, and the option for permanent employment after an initial temporary contract.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Application Development, IT Specialist for System Integration, Industrial Systems Technician, IT Management Assistant, Network Administrator, PC and Network Specialist, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT hardware rollout
  • Experience in providing IT services for large corporate clients
  • Experience with Windows client operating systems and MS Office
