Job Summary

The Technical Assistant role, based within the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at TU Dortmund University, involves essential laboratory support for a fixed-term, third-party funded research project. The core responsibilities include performing and evaluating biochemical and cell-based assays, specifically culturing and treating human glioblastoma cell lines, conducting cell viability and proliferation assays (e.g., CellTiter-Glo), and performing Western Blot analyses for detecting phosphorylated signaling proteins. The successful candidate will also manage meticulous documentation and quality assurance of experimental data, handle reagent administration, process laboratory orders, and assist the Professor with preparing technical reports. This position requires a completed technical assistant or laboratory technician qualification, preferably in Biology, coupled with strong analytical skills and routine experience in cell line cultivation and relevant analyses.
