Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for an enrolled student in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge battery research at the Fraunhofer Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing measurement campaigns focused on the electrical and thermal characterization of Lithium-Ion battery cells for state estimation. Day-to-day tasks include setting up experimental rigs, conducting detailed measurements, and rigorously evaluating the resulting data. Key requirements include strong knowledge of data analysis using Python libraries like Pandas and Matplotlib, practical laboratory experience with Li-Ion battery cells, and being at least in the 4th Bachelor semester. This position offers flexibility in working hours, proximity to campus, and exposure to high-performance research in e-mobility and sustainable energy systems.
