Job Summary

This role involves precision engineering within the chemical plant construction sector, requiring an expert Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Planner to develop intelligent control concepts for complex process engineering facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MSR) technology, from initial planning and specification of components to final commissioning. Key daily tasks include creating P&ID flow diagrams, functional descriptions, and selecting appropriate sensor, actuator, and automation systems crucial for chemical production. A vital part of the role is coordinating technical interfaces with electrical engineering, EMSR, and process engineering teams. Candidates must hold a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Process Engineering and possess proven professional experience in I&C planning within the industrial plant construction sector, ideally the chemical industry, coupled with proficiency in CAE tools like COMOS or EPLAN.
