This is a unique opportunity to join a three-year, federally and state-funded qualification program aimed at training certified Peatland Specialists (Moorspezialisten) at the Master's level, actively contributing to climate protection in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Starting August 1, 2026, participants will rotate through three different deployment sites, gaining essential practical experience in the planning, approval, implementation, and evaluation of peatland climate protection projects. The program integrates hands-on work with rigorous theoretical and methodological training, including interdisciplinary courses organized by the University of Greifswald. Successful candidates must hold a Master's degree in a relevant natural or environmental science field (such as Biology, Hydrology, or Environmental Engineering) and demonstrate C1 German proficiency.
