Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity to join the Stuttgart City Treasury, leading the Accounts Receivable team responsible for fines and one-time revenues on a part-time (50%) and fixed-term basis until August 31, 2028. You will co-lead a team of 16 employees, overseeing the income and expenditure accounting for the entire city administration, including dunning processes and payment transactions. Key responsibilities include providing telephone and in-person consultation to specialized departments and debtors, managing complaints, and handling complex cases. Furthermore, you will be involved in critical projects, such as the transition to S/4Hana, generating internal statistics, and providing data for press inquiries. The role requires a degree in Public Management or Business Administration, strong service orientation, and experience with SAP financial modules like Kommunalmaster, FI, SD, REFX, and PSCD, making it ideal for a finance professional seeking a leadership role in public administration.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Public Management (Diplom-Verwaltungswirt/-in) or Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt/-in, equivalent to Angestelltenlehrgang II); Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or comparable university degree in Administration or Finance.
Experience
- Professional experience in public or financial administration
- Experience in handling the financial system of SAP, specifically Kommunalmaster or modules FI, SD, REFX, and PSCD (desired)
- Knowledge of administrative offenses law (Ordnungswidrigkeitenrecht) and the OWI21 procedure (advantageous)
