Job Summary
This is a prestigious opportunity for an early career scientist to establish and lead an independent Junior Research Group within the collaborative framework of CRC1648 at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). Required Skills
Education
Doctoral degree (PhD or MD/PhD) in biology, biochemistry, human biology, or a related field; alternatively, an MD degree with a strong clinician scientist background
Experience
- Fulfillment of DFG criteria for early career researchers (Doctorate completed within the last 8 years)
- Proven research excellence and a strong publication record as first or senior author
- Demonstrated ability for independent research and project management
- Experience establishing and leading a research group (implied)
