Job Summary
This specialized role invites a highly qualified Molecular Biologist to join the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), one of Germany's leading university hospitals and home to one of the largest pathology institutes in the country. The primary focus of this position is contributing to molecular pathological tumor diagnostics. Day-to-day tasks involve the establishment, evaluation, and thorough documentation of analytical methods, ensuring compliance with stringent quality management standards. Successful candidates must hold a completed university degree and a PhD in Natural Sciences, specializing in Molecular Biology and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). Essential requirements include practical experience in molecular pathology analytics and the bioinformatic analysis of NGS data.
