Job Summary

This role is based at the newly established Institute for Applied Medical Informatics at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), focusing on leveraging complex medical data to generate actionable knowledge for improved patient care and research. The successful candidate will join the Agile Systems Development group, contributing to a consortium project launching in December 2025 aimed at building an oncological second opinion platform. Day-to-day tasks involve close collaboration with the software development team to conceptualize and implement data storage, visualization, analysis, and ETL processes. Key requirements include a university degree in a relevant IT field (Informatics, Medical Informatics, Mathematics) or equivalent, along with proficiency in Java and/or React.
