Job Summary

This role is a unique opportunity for a Research Associate or PhD Candidate to join the DFG-funded NeurInfect Graduate School, focusing on translational research into the biological mechanisms of neuropsychiatric sequelae following infections (NPI). The successful candidate will contribute to the planning and execution of clinical or experimental translational research projects, specifically within the fields of neuroscience, infection/immunology, and experimental/clinical medicine. Key responsibilities include data evaluation, publication of results, active participation in a structured qualification program (including lectures, workshops, and retreats), and presenting findings at scientific conferences. The position requires a high-achieving academic background (Master's level or equivalent) and offers a highly qualified, interdisciplinary research environment aimed at translating experimental findings into clinical applications over a four-year period.
