Job Summary

This PhD position offers a stimulating opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge pediatric neurooncology research at Jena University Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing experiments focused on interactions between pLGG cells and immune cells, utilizing complex cell culture techniques including co-culture and 3D models. Daily tasks involve applying molecular and biochemical methods such as flow cytometry, Western blotting, and qPCR to study cell signaling pathways. Key qualifications include a Master’s degree in a relevant life science field, hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and standard molecular biology techniques, and strong analytical skills. Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Biology, Molecular Medicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related life science field
