Job Summary

This role involves joining the Siemens Smart Infrastructure team to ensure the safety and protection of people, buildings, and industrial facilities by maintaining and servicing critical security systems. The Service Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on IT security systems, including fire alarm systems, intrusion detection systems, and management systems. Key daily tasks include troubleshooting damages, conducting functional checks according to contractual obligations and regulations (VDE 0833, DIN EN 14675), and commissioning new IT components and plant parts. The ideal candidate must have a relevant technical education, initial practical experience in security system installation and maintenance, knowledge of IT technology, and strong adherence to quality and safety regulations. This position is vital for ensuring operational compliance and supporting the ongoing digitalization of security infrastructure.
