Job Summary

As a Senior Expert in Product Related Environmental Protection (PREP), you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainability for Siemens' eMobility charging infrastructure. Based in Erlangen, you will ensure that global hardware development projects comply with critical environmental standards such as RoHS, REACH, and WEEE. Your daily responsibilities include conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), creating Product Environmental Declarations (PED), and embedding environmental requirements into the product development lifecycle. You will act as a key liaison between global hardware teams and the broader Siemens PREP community to share best practices. Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree with several years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with extensive long-term experience in Electrical Engineering; alternatively, vocational training with further qualification and long-standing expertise.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in the field of electrical engineering or environmental compliance
  • Long-term project management experience with a proven track record in coordinating global teams
  • Proven experience in implementing and rolling out environmental regulations within a technical sector
  • Experience in generating comprehensive environmental documentation for internal and external stakeholders
