This role involves cutting-edge research in heterogeneous virtual prototyping, specifically for Smart-Sensor-Systems within the *HYPRSENSE* project. Key responsibilities include developing and specifying an extension mechanism for SystemC AMS to integrate application-specific equation setters, solvers, and time-step controllers, and integrating this interface into the open-source reference implementation. The successful candidate will also develop and publish a MEMS-specific extension, implement and evaluate developed procedures, and contribute to an open-source demonstrator. This position requires a strong academic background (Master's or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, expertise in SystemC and C++, and experience with RISC-V and virtual prototyping/simulations of technical systems. The role is full-time, limited until December 31, 2028, with the aim of continuation, and offers the opportunity for doctoral studies.
