Job Summary

This Senior Application Engineer role focuses on Backend Development using C# and .NET within the Competence Center Application Lifecycle Management, serving as the primary application provider for the Corporate IT of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The successful candidate will be responsible for the conception, development (using Clean Code principles), testing, and documentation of web applications, ensuring seamless integration between front and backend systems. Key responsibilities also include the maintenance, optimization, and support of existing applications, as well as managing the development environment. Candidates must bring extensive, multi-year experience with C# and .NET, expertise in interface technologies, and knowledge of relational databases. Familiarity with agile development processes is essential, as the team operates within a DevOps culture.
